Absolutely not. That’s why we do a detailed history, comprehensive exam, and we do X-rays so that we can find out what the cause is. But there are different causes for back pain.
You can have injuries to the kidneys, you can have some sort of pathology, there are a lot of different things that can give you what we call referred pain to the back, that are not necessarily originating in the spine.
