Dr. Mark Roczey:

Once somebody’s neck pain has been addressed, and we are able to diagnose the condition, and we treat them aggressively on active care, we slowly place the patient on passive care. At that point, they’re instructed to do more at-home exercises. We commonly recommend a cervical neck pillow to support the neck curvature at night, which is so important, as well as posture techniques at work, so that they can stabilize and address any issues that might be causing more stress on their neck.
